The work on realization of long-term international Russian-Canadian program concerning problems of social field development, social rehabilitation of disabled people, training of social workers has been carrying since 1996. Program is realizing jointly with government of province Manitoba, Manitoba University (Winnipeg) authorities, Canadian Centre of disablement studying authorities. Rector, professor Shiyanov E.N. is a leading coordinator on Russian side.
This program includes carrying out short-term seminars and trainings on the territory of Stavropol Territory and Canada; 9 instructors and 11 students of the Institute took part in it.
8 scientific and teaching and methodical seminars were carried in Stavropol, Pyatigorsk and Winnipeg (Canada) during last 3 years. Lectures, which reflected intermediate results of this program, were read by rector of NCSI, professor Shiyanov E.N. and vice-rector in charge of educational work of the Institute, Bobrishev S.V. on the international conference (Montreal, Winnipeg, Canada).
In the end of 1998-1999 academic year Law faculty was included in realization of international project "Eurasia fund" on problems of legal conflicts settlement before the trial. Within this project "Centre of Assistance in Settlement of Legal conflicts" was established in structure of NCSI. Law Clinic helped faculty to establish international relations with American Association of Lawyers through its representatives in Moscow and with American fund "Eurasia". Instructors of the faculty took part in international seminars on clinical and law studying. For example, associate professors Petrova, Kuzmina, senior instructors Murzabekov, Dovgaluk took part in several international scientific and practical seminars in Moscow (1999-2001), in Stavropol (1999-2000), in Gelengik (1999), in Saint-Petersburg (1999), in Kaluga (2006).
The head of criminal disciplines department associate professor Voskobitova L.A. worked on probation of clinical teaching of students in Universities of USA (1997) and Croatia (1998).
Law Faculty won competitive grants of American funds of innovative methods application and for summer probation-schools of law students in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States countries. (Leaders of projects are Petrova I.V. and Voskobitova L.A.). In 2001-2002 academic year the faculty realized the probation of teacher-trainers of Law Clinic from member countries of CIS with help of Soros Fund. (Head of the project is Voskobitova L.A).
"We know, that Institute is a specific social organism, life perspective of which depends to a large extent on presence of its own spirit of research, ability to give youth and searching people an opportunity to realize themselves in science, ability to bring up skilled staff on their own. NCSI has matured for solution of this problem also; post-graduate courses on 5 the most popular scientific specialties has been opened in the Institute in 2002. And I'm absolutely sure, that in 3 years our Institute will greet its first Ph.Ds of legal, economic, psychological and social sciences".

Achieved success
The third international scientific conference: "Problems of Social Orientation of Market Economics in Modern Russia", was held from 17th to 19th of November in Moscow Financial Academy, attached to the government of Russian Federation; 5th-year student Petrenko, 3rd-year student Kashin, 3rd-year student Moiseev had the honor to represent NCSI in it.
To describe the prestigiousness of this conference we should notice that 103 institute from 5 countries have taken part in it. (Russian, Latvia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan). Stavropol Territory was presented by NCSI, Stavropol State University, and North Caucasus State Technical University.
To run ahead a little we can say, that Stavropol Territory got 2 certificates for the best reports. One of them was won by Moiseev D., (speciality "Taxation"). Three of our works competed in discussion club: "The Significance of Taxation System in Solution of Problem of Social Market Orientation in Russia". Discussion was held for 3 days. All reports were heard, it was far from being a boring, protocol procedure.
