The faculty is headed by Neverova Valentina Vladimirovna Ph.D. (Sociology), associate professor. The theme of her Ph.D. thesis is "Moral aspects of a personality's socialization in the untraditional society." Neverova V.V. is an author of more than thirty scientific, educational and methodical publications, including a monographic publication "Program installations and creative advertising principles".
For considerable progress in the sphere of scientific and pedagogical activities Valentina Vladimirovna Neverova was rewarded with a diploma of Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The opening of Information Systems and Technologies Faculty was due to awareness of the priority of training specialists in the sphere of high technologies and computer equipment, the demand for such specialists in the employment market.
Despite the fact that it is the youngest faculty of NCSI it is the leading, the most numerous structural subdivision of the institute. Today the number of students of the faculty exceeds three hundred people. In accordance with the last year dynamics of the institute enrollment, the number of people who desire to master state-off-the-art specialties in great demand is increasing. Lecturers and students of the faculty are confident in their future, because they are sure that their profession will be required in spite of the current state of the market.
The staff of the faculty includes Ph.D.s, Second Ph.D.s along with practicing lecturers having considerable work experience in leading service firms, banks, commercial organizations and taxation services. Lecturers of the faculty constantly raise the level of their professional skills, take part in various scientific-research projects, work on theses.

Specialization 230702 "Information Service" is aimed at training specialists in software management of information systems departments. Specialization "Computer and Microprocessor Service" is aimed at training specialists in management of technical facilities of information systems departments.
