Economics faculty

The faculty is headed by Simkova Natalia Viktorovna Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor.

Nowadays Economics Faculty is one of the largest centers for training specialists in the sphere of economics.

The faculty facilities include copious methodical and applied aids for doing the faculty courses, computer studies with software for studying electronic books and Multi Media tutorials.

At the current stage of the development of Russian economy the faculty trains specialists in great demand.

The faculty is represented  with four chairs:

Chair of Finances and Credit headed by Mescheryakova Lyudmila Alexandrovna Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor;

Chair of Economics and Commerce headed by Fotiadi Natalia Valentinovna Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor;

Chair of Taxation and Accounting headed by Simkova Natalia Viktorovna Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor;

Chair of Management headed by Tkachenko Viktor Nikolaevich Second Ph.D. (Economics), professor.

Every chair realizes the boldest ideas in life under the leadership of highly qualified and rapidly developing staff.

Involvement of students in scientific research work is one of the challenges for the staff. The results of scientific research groups of students are summed up at annual scientific conferences. Articles of young researches are published in scientific editions of the institute. A lot of students take part in intercollegiate, regional, Russian scientific conferences. Students acquire knowledge in the sphere of state and municipal finances, banking and insurance, currency circulation, financial management, equity market, taxes and taxation.

080109.65 Accounting, Analysis and Audit

On the basis of professional knowledge specialists should provide collection, analysis and usage of assets information, liabilities, capital, movement of money flows, income and expenses as well as information on financial results of enterprises' activities. It results in improvement of usage of economic potential of administrative subjects and effective organization of their financial and economical relations, etc. The professional activities of specialists are realized in every sphere of national economy. They are aimed at professional service of functioning of administrative subjects in every lawful forms of ownership, in state budget institutions and institutions beyond budget.

Professional activities (tax-budgetary, lawful, standard-methodical, financial-economic, tax-law enforcement) of specialists are realized in the system of departments of Ministry of the Russian Federation for taxes and levies; in Federal Service of Taxing Police; in Ministry of Finances of the Russian Federation; in state organizations at federal, territorial and municipal level; in judicial, economic departments of enterprises, organizations, institutions requiring higher education. Professional activities are aimed at control of precision and timeliness of taxation, tax planning, consultations and tax investigations.

Students acquire knowledge about methods, techniques, and means of organized economic activities facilitating effective production. Professional activities of managers-economists comprise economic, organizing, accounting-financial, managing, information systems and processes in rural economy and other enterprises of processing branch.

Students with professional experience analyze, coordinate and regulate activities of all departments of enterprises taking into consideration changes in the environment; investigate the market and its prospects, requirements and demand, their dynamics and in accordance with it work out a strategy of the enterprise in competitive environment; prepare proposals for development of assortment; work out price policy; choose ways of distribution taking into account factors influencing sale of goods; work out communication policy; take part in working out programs of strategic and efficient planning; find out effectiveness of marketing activities.

Professional activities of these specialists is devoted to Personnel Administration Service of state and municipal authority bodies and administration departments in enterprises, institutions and organizations with all forms of ownership, in industry, trade, transport as well as in banking, insurance, tourism and other fields, in employment agencies.

Professional activities of commerce specialists are realized in the sphere of commodities circulation. They are aimed at functioning of enterprises of all organizational lawful forms in order to organize effective commercial activities in accord with branch, regional and nomenclature features of enterprises. Specialists should provide effective commercial activities on the basis of their professional knowledge and thus facilitate the solution of an important socio-economic challenge of meeting the consumers' demand.

Professional activities of managers (managerial, organizational, economic, planned-financial, marketing, data analytical, planned investigative, diagnostic, innovative, methodical, consultative and training) are applied in the field of organization of economic, industrial and social spheres, in the subdivision of administrative systems of state enterprises, joint-stock companies and private firms. The activities of specialists are also realized in scientific industrial organizations; scientific, designing and planning organizations; departments of state administration and social infrastructure of national economy.
